The Lumiere Brothers - Founders of Cinematography, Fathers of Film

I used to live in La Ciotat, France, and became aware of the Lumiere brothers when I nearly took an apartment in their old villa outside of the old town. The first film made was of the Marseilles -Nice train pulling into La Ciotat station. I thought that, before I begin sculpting any of the many "heros" in this popular industry, I should give them credit. There are some wonderful movie shorts on Youtube now, to see what they were conceiving of back then. Perhaps the town council of La Ciotat will buy my molds, for I can't imagine many orders coming in for these two!!
